Honeymoon to Paris

Guess its better late than never, right??? :)  Here are a few fotos of our honeymoon to Paris in August.

At the bottom of the really tall building on our last night in Paris!!! AMAZING time and I will never forget our honeymoon. Jair wanted my dream to come true and it did. We can't wait to go again!!!!

Wedding bells are coming

2 MORE WEEKS! HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Things are coming fast and going on around me and I feel overwhelmed.
I want the day to be here, but then again I wish I was more prepared!
AWWWWWWWWWWW time to get a move on....night~

I leave for Brasil in ONE WEEK!! Sooo excited to see Jair and his relatives and some of my friends again! Not ready for the LONGGG plane rides and extreme heat, but it comes with the territory! At least in the end I get to see Jair again!! These 14 days on the oil platform are difficult. I hate not being able to talk with him! :( But God is faithful and sustains me! =)

Forgot to post that day....but Jair and I are moving to Belem!!!! I am leaving in 11 days to move more of my things!!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I cant wait.

I am officially DONE with work. Its gonna be soo weird, but so NICE to actually work on wedding plans! God is good and always provides!!!

Happy and Safe Memorial Day! Thank you to all the men and woman who serve and protect ME! Our Country appreciates you!!!

God is IN Control!!

We find out today where Jair will be stationed and where we will be living in Brasil!! GOD IS GOOD! I am praying hard and know that its in HIS best interest as to where we live! Any prayers would be coveted!! Thanks!!

As I was writing some words of encouragment to some dear friends, I realized God was really speaking through me so that I could take a look at my own life and be reminded that I am only put on this earth for a short time and season. What am I doing with this time??? Am I serving Christ and living my day, moment, as if it were my last?? Even though I thought I was writing these words to my friends, God was actually speaking to myself as well....

A place you love and a place you can always be content at....but girls, remember, God puts you where HE wants you! According to HIS will. wedding date finally set

AUGUST 14th, 2010 is our FINAL wedding date!!

Super excited to start getting things rolling!!

The Proposal :)

I love my ring. Its a beautiful 1/2 K, Princess Cut Diamond with side bagets (sp?) ( Jair and I designed it several months ago ;) Love love love it)

On Feb 14th Jair and I went to the Chaya Brasserie Restaraunt

on Embarcadero St. in San Fran. It was a cute, little, romantic place right across from the water. After a 3 coarse meal we were full and decided to walk across the street to a Pier that overlooked the Bay Bridge.

As he tried to free the ring from his small inside coat pocket..it got a little stuck....then he got down on one knee and said shaking and freezing, "Shanelle! Will you marry me?" I said "y y yesss" from the cold and wind, we kissed and then ran back to get my car from the vallet parking. It would have been better if it wasn't so cold and windy, but it was still sweet and romantic :)

Jair arrives at 9:33 pm on Tuesday!!!! :) Can't wait. Hes leaving Brasil on Sat mornin and heading to Georgia I think for a few days to take his mom n sis on a tour of the city cause they wanna know the city :P What a guy! lol Love him and can't wait to see him for a WHOLE MONTH!!!
